I haven't worked on the painting recently so here's a sketcbook page. I tried to draw my former Vampire: the Requiem LARP character Laetitia Cavendish, but apparently I'm not able to draw her the same way twice. The watercolor pencil portrait is closest to how I imagine her. Top right is looking like an old librarian, lower right is supposed to be her in the modern day with hair loose (but she doesn't do that often).

I'm currently looking for a new scanner, photographing is tedious and I don't have the perfect lighting conditions every day.

Years ago, when I was 19 I think, she came into my dream. Actually, I was her. Out of this dream that left me under impression came the idea for a story that I would have liked to turn into a comic, but for several reasons didn't get to it yet. I wanted it to be a mature believable story with no beginner plot-holes and I just had to do more research and have personal experiences that I could base my writing on.
I did some sketches of her at that time, but nothing special, just to note some features. Here some of them are implied, but I will leave the story for another time :)
Some digging through my old sketches reminded me of her so I had the urge to draw her again and present her to the world for the first time.

This is my Vampire: The Requiem LARP character (I haven't played it yet, it's still in conceptual phase). Azrael is not her real name though, just a nickname she earned through the decades (guess why?)

She's a Nosferatu, but not a typical one — she looks beautiful with no visible deformities, but her mind is another story.
She was embraced as a 17 year old during the WWII.
I think she'll be a fun character to play.
