Metamorphosis WIP 3
I have neglected it a bit, and still I'm not done, but it's 2 A.M... *yawn*
I don't know what to do with the skin, if anything. Skin tones done with diluted acrylic on Animus look so much better.

Yet another demon winged chick
Ink lineart of a new piece I'm working on... there are more details on the drawing but the pencils can't be seen because it's a poor quality photo.
This is a rework of a really old, crappy sketch I did in 2005 that you can see here. I changed the concept drastically, but at least she still has wings, heh..
Complete Animus work-in-progress
Finally done :) I finished it yesterday at 1:30 A.M., photographed it this morning before work, and now I've completed these work in progress pieces.
- Pencil sketch
- Background painted in diluted ultramarine acrylic paint (full view of this step is missing, but you can see it here), then painted colorful doodles with acrylic and drawn music with ink
- First layer of robe in cyan
- Completed face skin, some work on the arms and a layer of magenta over the robe
- Painted the hair and antlers with ink wash, some details on the arms, and a layer of mars black over the robe (big mistake, now parts have a greenish tone)
- Fixed the eyes and arms a bit, added some highlights on the antlers and arms with white acrylic, a bit of pure black ink on the robe and several more layers of ultramarine and magenta, plus another layer of ultramarine on the background. Voilla!
Finished painting:
Acrylic and ink wash on watercolor paper, 32x50cm. I don't know how many hours because I've lost count.
Animus work in progress #5
You must be bored the hell out of it already, but here comes. Hair and antlers done, robe is darkened a bit. Still haven't fixed the eyes and arms.

EDIT: But not before I tweaked this thing a bit. I finally coded pagination for categories (it used to show all posts in category on a single page, sorry about that..) and also found a couple of images I lost when my files were mysteriously deleted from the public_html folder (Hostgator claimed they had no idea what happened, and that it surely wasn't hacked...) so now there should be less 404 pages. If you encounter any more please let me know.
